The Town of Rumford announces a public hearing to be held by the Select Board on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 5:30 pm at the Rumford Falls Auditorium, 145 Congress Street in Rumford to receive public comment on the proposed sewer assessment change per Town Ordinance adopted June 11, 2024 and to set the proposed rate at $600 per unit with up to 4,800 cubic feet of water flow annually, billed quarterly at the rate of $150 per quarter with up to 1,200 cubic feet of water flow plus 12.5 cents per cubic foot for water use over the minimum use per quarter. The regular selectboard meeting will follow the public hearing.
