CONGRATULATIONS TOWN MANAGER, Linda-Jean Briggs

CONGRATULATIONS to OUR Town Manager, Linda- Jean Briggs. She and our Select Board negotiated a 3 year contract, into 2021. We are very proud and fortunate to have LJ. Her vision for and dedication to Rumford and the River Valley Area is apparent., as well as, her sense of community and her constant support, encouragement,  appreciation, care and concern for employees and staff. Her approachability, as well as, her “hands on” approach and wealth of knowledge has enabled us all to learn from her. She has set clear and precise guidelines for all to follow and has set the tone for The Town of Rumford. Her willingness to “pitch in” on the work load and assist any and all employees in accomplishing goals, meeting deadlines and being successful is exemplary. Many exciting things and projects are in process and  on the forefront in Rumford. OUR TOWN is heading in WONDERFUL direction with LJ at the helm.
