Game licenses, Hunting and Fishing Law Books, Deer and Moose applications are all available at the Clerks Office. Alternately, they are also available online at:

2019 Dog Tags Are Here!

If your dog’s rabies shots have been updated, please bring in the rabies certificate.  Please be aware that the State of Maine requires us to collect a late fee starting February 1st of each year.  This fee does not apply to first time registrations.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!

Reserved Parking at the 150 River Street Entrance(police department entrance)

You may also, call the office to have your ballot mailed directly to you.

**NOTICE**

Due to a delay at the printers, MUNICIPAL BALLOTS are expected to be available by the end of the week (10/12/18)

STATE BALLOTS are Available.

If you have requested or would like to request a ballot, we will be mailing them by Friday, October 12.

To request a ballot you may call our office at 364-4576 Ext #213 or #214

We will update you when all ballots are available, for those who would like to vote in our office.

November 6, 2018 Election

If you are unable to vote at the polling place on November 6, 2018 you can request an absentee ballot until November 1, 2018 in the following ways:

1) in person at the clerks office ( parking will be reserved and available in the back of the building with easy access) (elevator available)

2) an immediate family member may pick one up for you.

3) by phone request (which we mail to you)

Anyone who needs special assistance may request that the clerk bring them their ballot in person

Applicants must provide proof of lineage and Positive ID.

Marriage Information

To obtain a Marriage License one or both of you must live in Rumford.

Both bride and groom must sign all forms in presence of notary and /or town clerk.

No waiting period
Fee $40
License valid for 90 days.

If you have been married before provide divorce papers with original signature (or notarized copy) or death certificate of last spouse.
